It’s that time again…and I’m not talking about football, y’all. The days are getting shorter and cooler. Leaves are changing to their early golds and reds. An early morning mist rises over the lake and the pond. I just love it. So are you like I am? Are you ready for some pumpkin?
When I looked back over the recipes on Dining With Debbie, I was somewhat amazed at the number of dishes I have prepared with pumpkin as an ingredient. Rather like Bubba in Forrest Gump. Baked pumpkin. Roasted Pumpkin. Grilled Pumpkin. Pumpkin Pie. Pumpkin Latte. Pumpkin Soup. Pumpkin Doughnuts. Pumpkin and Brussels Sprouts.
You get the idea.
I may have a problem, perhaps?

You weren’t kidding when you said you love to cook with pumpkin. There are dishes on your list i would have never thought of. Your grandchildren are beautiful.
Wow! I think they are beautiful (of course)— and the recipes aren’t bad looking either:) Thanks for stopping by.
Yes! I’m ready for pumpkin everything. I’ve begun to decorate around my house and garden, violating my normal “wait until Oct 1” rule. Rules are made to be broken, right? And wow, what a list. There are several here I want to try especially the gnocchi, pumpkin ravioli, and granola bars.
I really have to restrain myself. I love every pumpkin I meet…the uglier, the better. I bet your porch is even more beautiful this time of year. You should drive out Hwy 12 soon. The leaves are already beginning to show color.
