Spring is trying its best to arrive in Arkansas, but it’s struggling. We’ve gone from 75 to 35 during the week which has me all confused. And it’s really confusing my gardening. My tomato plants need the soil to warm so they can go in the ground. Soon!
Know what I mean?
With spring fever rising, I’m so looking forward to strawberry season in Arkansas. We have some of the absolute best strawberries y’all. They are so much sweeter than the ones you can find year round in the grocery. We absolutely eat them straight from the crate during the short season, and I love using them in these favorite ways.
Take a look. Each recipe title is linked to the post.
Be sure to come back for more ideas next week. And…I’m dreaming up some new ideas for you as well.
Happy Spring! (brrrr)

GRILLED PORK TENDERLOIN with STRAWBERRY SALSA
FRESH STRAWBERRY CAKE
I’m thinking about those Arkansas strawberries, too. I hope the weather doesn’t nip them. Strawberry shortcake is my favorite, but I love them in salads and eating them straight from the crate, too.
Oh, me too! I love, love homemade strawberry shortcake — the real kind:) So looking forward to the season. Thanks for stopping by.
Thank you for sharing so much wonderful information. You are so talented and very generous. I think you were placed on earth to challenge the rest of us. I wish that I had learned from you before I became an elderly but happy older woman. Thanks!
