So I got to make this little EARLY morning appearance on KTHV Channel 11’s This Morning program on Wednesday to celebrate National Biscuit Month. This was my second appearance on the show, and it was just as much fun this time as it was the first visit.
Here’s the LINK to a video of my appearance.
All of the biscuits have already or will appear on the blog. I hope you’ll check out those — they’re all my favorites, of course.
Cat Head Biscuits from Oark General Store (I served them with Petit Jean Ham and Habanero Peach Jam with Ginger)
Pumpkin and Walnut Scones with Salted Caramel Glaze
Sally Brown’s Angel Biscuits (Served with Strawberry Freezer Jam)
Shirley Corriher’s Touch of Grace Biscuits
Apple Pie Biscuits adapted from Joy the Baker — coming
Basic Drop Biscuit (Variation Parmesan-Black Pepper-Bacon Drop Biscuits) — coming
Oh my goodness. Apple Pie Biscuits! Who knew? I need to try your drop biscuit recipe. Putting this on my list of things to do in my new kitchen:))
I know! It’s also very good with pears. If I can get my hands on some figs, I’m thinking about that as well. One giant Fig Newton! The drop biscuit recipe should post next Monday. I thought they were going to post it on the tv web page, but they opted to use only the angel biscuit one. Those are soooooo good. Give them a try.
Actually the Apple Pie Biscuits will post on Monday. I’ll follow up later in the week with the drop biscuit one.
