I use my Crock Pot (slow cooker) in many ways all year long. It’s a huge help during the school year when I am so very busy. But, I really like to use it in the summer as well to save on heat in the kitchen. However, Hubby likes it best when I use it to create desserts since I so seldom bake any more. With only the two of us, and me always on some sort of diet, his sweet tooth doesn’t get satisfied too often.
I’m sharing some links to some really good slow cooker desserts that we have tried and really enjoyed. With the busy holiday season upon us, perhaps you can use some of these at home and at your holiday festivities. I’d love to hear about some of your favorites as well.
Slow Cooker Apple Crisp
and Slow Cooker Apple Brown Betty
are two of my absolute favorites. Nothing says Fall or Winter like these two.

Probably my all-time favorite, however, is Fudgy Caramel Pudding Cake. Can you say, ‘DELICIOUS.” Can you say, ‘EASY?”
If you try any of these, I’d love to know what you thought about them. Your family and friends will love you for trying then, I’m sure.
MERRY, MERRY MUNCHIES 2010
Next Monday is the premier date for this year’s Merry, Merry Munchies event. Please consider linking up a favorite holiday goody each day next week. The more times you enter, the more chances you have to win a gift certificate to Williams and Sonoma. Just think how merry you will be if you win:) Mister Linky will remain active all week for that.
Now, to the big announcements of the gift certificate winner for the Second Year of Crock Pot Wednesday. I really appreciate all who entered and commented.
Congratulations to Courtney at womenlivingwell.org! I hope all of you will go visit her great blog and tell her congratulations as well.

I’ve made dessert in the slow cooker but I don’t think I’ve posted any on my blog. Great recipes though, thanks!
