Such was the case last weekend. I was taking a shortcut to chicken noodle soup by using a deli roasted chicken that I had actually picked up for a quick dinner but did not use. While checking the pantry for my noodle supply, I came across this package…
I thought…sounds good to me. Out comes the slow cooker; in goes two cans of low-sodium chicken broth, a package of my favorite Pictsweet Seasoning Blend, a 15-ounce can of drained and rinsed black beans and this soup mix. I set the slow cooker on LOW and left it to brew for the better part of the day.
