North Little Rock’s local market, Argenta Market, is marking its third anniversary this Saturday, April 13,   from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.with A Celebration of Arkansas Products.  If you know anything about me, you know that I consider it my privilege and mission to promote all things Arkansas – at least all of those things about which I am passionate.

And….I am definitely passionate about food. And quality. And local.  And organic when I can get it.

I enjoy shopping at Argenta Market because of the quality of their products and their personal attention.  In addition, they offer tons of small farm products from our state.  I love that they support our local farmers and vendors.

They also offer a delicious daily lunch special which you can check out by visiting their web site: Argenta Market

In recognition of their anniversary, they have teamed up with some of these locals who  will  provide food samples, demonstrations, and raffle prizes. These include Ratchford Exotic Meat Farm, Le Pops, Loblolly Creamery, The Resident Chef, Southern Girl Soapery, and more. Entertainment will be provided by Zach McKenzie.  Seating and free parking will be available. Grocery customers will receive a free reusable shopping bag with their purchase.

You just have to love that, right?

In addition, the authentic Argenta Farmers Market will celebrate its seasonal grand opening.  It is located at the corner of 6th and Main in North Little Rock conveniently across the street from Argenta Market.

Still in need of an idea for Mother’s Day or special gift?  Drop by and ask them to whip up a gift basket of Arkansas products for you.  It’s full of items that anyone would be thrilled to receive.

Oh.  And tell ‘em that Debbie sent ya’.
