Disclosure: These Bullet Cufflinks from Bourbon and Boots were provided  to me through my affiliation with Arkansas Women Bloggers to facilitate my post. All opinions expressed are mine.

When I received these Bullet Cufflinks from Bourbon and Boots, one of my absolute favorite online retailers, I knew I had to find the perfect way to showcase them.  Who better to do that than our friend and wardrobe consultant, Ron Freeman at Greenhaw’s Men’s Store in Little Rock, the epitome of the well-dressed Southern gentleman and the one we turn to when it’s time for Hubby to purchase clothing of just about any kind. These handcrafted Bullet Cufflinks  by Michael Artie Keinard of Artifacts and Relics in Myerstown, Pennsylvania, made using genuine fired bullet casings, needed just the right “stuff” to set them off.

It was rather like being the proverbial kid in a candy store.  The courteous staff of Greenhaw’s pretty much let me have the run of the store; I loved it.  I got to style  the cufflinks with a variety of shirts and ties, including bowties, and some awesome boots.  While it was difficult to decide on the final outfit for the photoshoot, I just had to go with the season’s trendiest color, orange.  The bullets needed just the right wardrobe attitude and I think Ron and I found it.  What do you think?

Artie’s cufflinks, available at Bourbon and Boots, would make unique groomsmen, graduation or Father’s Day gifts.  What Southern male wouldn’t want to be sporting these?  And just so you Southern girls won’t feel left out, you should go check out the Bullet Earrings my friends Delta Moxie and The Park Wife are modeling as well.  Matching gifts for the bridal party perhaps?

To quote my friends at Bourbon and Boots, “ Michael “Artie” Keinard has been making things and taking things apart to see how they work since he was a very small child. His inspiration currently arises from a Steampunk, industrial style. He loves making old new again.”  Don’t settle for boring when you can have Southern class.
